Today Design is a collective that focuses on solving specific problems through the use of thoughtful design and clever technology.

During COVID lockdowns, we facilitated an online session for the team at Today Design that focused heavily on play.

The team is made up of a collection of creatives so we discussed how we could use art-making in this space to move away from perfectionism and realism (an issue so many artists struggle with), and instead, inviting playfulness and imagination as priorities. We utilised whole-team screenshots of each other’s bodies in fun shapes as references through our screens, as well as experimenting with temporary art-making with impermanent arrangements of objects.
