CAYA acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation whose stolen land we create and operate on. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present, recognising that First Nation Australians hold an incomparable and longstanding understanding of the ways in which creativity can unite, benefit and grow communities. Using creativity for health, wellbeing, connection and communication is an approach that many diverse cultures have used for centuries before us and we aim to respectfully continue this tradition. It always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

Covid Safety

CAYA is striving to operate within the ‘Covid Normal’ we find ourselves in. It is at the forefront of our mission to ensure that we follow Covid Safety with all of our face to face sessions. Masks are optional, so please do what feels safest for you. If you feel unwell, please stay home and rest up. We are regularly cleaning all communal art materials, practicing social distancing where possible and maintaining location density limits. We are constantly working to create a safe space for participants. We know that times are trialling and everyone is doing their best!
